A New York case Blake v. Charger, 76 Misc. 2d 577 (Family Court, Queens
County) dated January 4, 1974, cites the following on page 579:
Colon V. Tristani, 45 P.R. 219
After reviewing the list of abbreviations in Bieber's Dictionary of Legal
Abbreviations (4th ed.), I checked the Pacific Reporter (1st & 2nd series),
Probate Reports (publication of which apparently ceased with volume 14), and
the N.Y. Surrogate Ct. Reports (Powers--1891-1893; NY Nominatives).
I also ran a search on WESTLAW in allfeds and allstates; however, I only
located one document with the party names Colon and Tristani, but it was
not the case I was looking for. The case which I need deals with
a " 'dead man's' statute in an action to establish paternity against a
deceased putative father."
If anyone can help me determine the publication represented by "P.R." or
can provide me with a copy of the case, it would be greatly appreciated.
