Thanks very much to all who responded to my question about the new
Russian constitution. A summary of the responses:

Sources for the November 1993 draft text include Current Digest of the
Post-Soviet Press, vol. XLV, no. 45 (Dec. 8, 1993), which is also
available through the Hottop library on Lexis; a new filing in the
looseleaf Constitutions of the Countries of the World; and by
telnet/gopher at ukanaix.cc.ukans.edu, login ex-ussr. The latter I
confess I wasn't able to get to myself; I may have to check with the
folks at the University of Kansas.

My patron was actually hoping for an official version--that is,
one dated after the December elections. This seems to be harder
to track down, and she may have to wait a while for that.

At any rate, thanks for the draft text suggestions.
