There are some errors in the new _AALL Directory and Handbook_. I apologize for
the inconvenience these errors have caused (and will continue to cause), and
I'm hopeful that next year's version will have *even fewer errors* than this
year's (which has far fewer errors than the previous year's).
In order to make this hope a reality, however, members who discover that their
listings are incorrect need to do one very important little thing: it is all
well and good to post corrections to this list, but it is essential that you
also NOTIFY HEADQUARTERS. That is the only way to be certain that your
membership database entry gets changed; since the _Directory_ is derived from
the database, failure to communicate directly with HQ could lead to errors
being repeated in other places (mailing lists, etc.) and in subsequent editions
of the _Directory_.
