Just wanted to let everyone know that I had a meeting with the Mead Data
Central Librarian Liason and presented her with copies of all our e-mails.
I thought I wouldn't be able to get fired up about the issues at hand
since the meeting took place at 8:00 A.M., however, once we got going, I
was off to the races and hopefully would have made you proud!!! At one
point, I asked her point blank about "Who could possibly not think about
this???!!!" (this being the issue that we all have these little cheat
sheets next to the computer that now serve absolutely no purpose and of
course, we had nothing better to do the day Nexis switched then to spend
the day revising them....NOT!!!) She seemed as baffled as I, had no answer
and took COPIOUS notes. I touched on all the issues you presented from
cost increases to (big topic) LACK OF DOCUMENTATION. Again, no answers
from Cindy, but a very willing and sympathetic ear. If anyone would like
copies of all the e-mails I got on this issue, please let me know and I
will forward them on. (there are 40 of them) Is there a way I can forward
the contents of a whole folder or do I have to do it one message at a
time?? If I have to send one message at a time, please.....really truly
want all the messages before I take the time to forward them to you!!!

Oh, if you don't have one yet, Nexis....News.......Whatever......does have a
NEWS contents list. There is no alpha listing at this point and I told them
we needed that, however, this pulication will help you for now.
What I want to know is why we didn't have this a couple months ago.
Certainly not a case of "Better late then never".
