Dean Jeffrey E. Lewis of the University of FLorida College of Law announced yes
terday that Betty W. Taylor, Director of the Legal Information Center and Profe
ssor of Law, has been named to an endowed professorship, the Clarence J. TeSell
e Professorship. She is the first woman to be named to an endowed professorshi
p here. This is another in a long line of firsts for Betty Taylor. This is a
great personal honor, as well as a milestone for law librarianship. Please joi
n her staff in congratulating her.
