Hi, Lyo! The things I've been recommending are (in non-fiction)
Steven Levy's _Hackers_ and _Artificial Life_, Cliff Stoll's
_The Cuckoo's Egg_, _Cyberpunk_ (by two authors whose names
escape me at the moment) and _The Hacker Revolution_ (by the
Bruce who co-wrote _The Difference Engine_)(I HOPE that's
the name of it). In fiction, I recently read _The Shockwave
Rider_ (didn't like it, but a lot of people refer to it so
at least I know what they are talking about now). _The Adolescence
of P-1_ is an older novel about a computer that acquires
sentience (sort of like _The Forbin Project_). It was made
into a short film a few years ago.
Happy traveling!
