A few weeks ago I asked a question about the new EF software for
LegalTrac. I wanted to know how long it had been available and
whether anyone who leased their equipment from IAC had the software.
To summarize the results:
The software has been available for about a year and a number of
law schools have it, but it cannot be used on leased equipment from
IAC.
As far as I can tell, IAC is making no effort to notify schools
with leased equipment about the software and is making no effort to
upgrade their equipment to enable it to run the software. Perhaps
it's time for a few calls to Customer Service.
