As Chair of Your Academic SIS, I would like to second George Pike's
invitation to the Academic SIS Reception. The University of Pittsburgh
has underwritten the cost of this event, and we appreciate their
generosity and hospitality.
I would like to remind all Academic SIS members that the SIS business
meeting will immediately precede the reception this year. Its time has
been changed to accommodate the programs for the National Conference on
Legal Information Issues. We can all explore Pittsburgh's bus system and
arrive at the reception together, following the business meeting. This is
what is called, in academic circles, a "field trip."
