If anyone has a list of articles about women who have served as judges in
Texas, I would appreciate having a list of your resources.
This request is for one of our female judges who is writing an article on the
subject. A while back I posted a request for her to anyone with information
about the 1925 case in which three women jurists were appointed to the Texas
Supreme Court to hear the Woodmen of the World case, and she was very
gratified by the response, but now wants to expand her article to include
other female judges.
I do not believe that she has gotten very far along with her research, so any
source would be helpful. We have limited researching abilities, and she said
she is not finding very much material at our public library.
