Thanks to those of you who responded. Apparently many firms are looking
at this issue.
Many of the firms which already have systems in place have a variety of
e-mail connections and applications (straight e-mail, access to the firm's
network, access to the client's own files, etc.) Some firms actually
have several email systems in use at the same time. Not surprisingly
one of the biggest issues mentioned is security/encryption.
