We need mentors for the AALL Convention. Many library students and new
librarians took us up on our recent offer to extend the deadline for
accepting mentee applications. We, however, received only a few additional
applications from "old," or should I say experienced, librarians offering
to serve as mentors.
Volunteering as a mentor requires relatively little time; providing a new
member to our profession with that initial welcome can be a rewarding and
enjoyable experience. If you would like to participate as a mentor, please
