WANTED: 1995 OBS-SIS PROGRAM PROPOSAL IDEAS!
In three weeks, we will be in Seattle, enjoying this year's
annual meeting. But believe it or not, the deadline for submitting
program proposals for the 1995 meeting is August 12th! That
doesn't leave us much time after we get home to think about and
prepare our proposals.
The OBS-SIS Education Committee will meet in Seattle on
Wednesday July 13 from 12:00-1:00. All interested members of the
SIS and of AALL are invited to discuss ideas and help us get a head
start on the proposal process.
If you have a topic to suggest, please take some time before
heading for Seattle to flesh it out a bit with as many of these as
you can: title, co-sponsor(s), coordinator, length, format,
target, audience, intended learning outcome, and description. All
are needed for the proposal form, so we might as well be thinking
about them early.
If you have an idea but won't be able to attend the meeting,
you can send it to me in advance :) by fax or e-mail (both in the
sig below) or leave it for me on the message board.
