Dear AALL Chapter President:
Please encourage your Recruitment Committee Chair, Library School Liaison
or another chapter representative to attend the Recruitment Committee
Roundtable Meeting at the Seattle Annual Meeting. It will be held on
Saturday, July 9, 1994 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. This year our program topic
is "Making the Connection - Employers and Educators, Let's Get Together &
Recruit". The program will examine how employers can work with graduate
library schools to recruit and educate future law library professionals.
Speakers include Albert O. Brecht (University of Southern California;
member of the AALL Task Force on Education for Law Librarianship), Roy M.
Mersky (University of Texas) and Jon S. Schultz (University of Houston).
The meeting will also provide an opportunity for attendees to share
recruitment ideas with each other and members of the AALL Recruitment
Committee.
