If your organization/company is seeking professional
librarians, then register for SLA's Employment Clearinghouse.
The Employment Clearinghouse is a yearly networking
opportunity offered at SLA's Annual Conference, June 11-16, 1994.
It is designed to help information professionals increase their
awareness of available positions. For employers, the Clearinghouse
is an easy method of bringing job openings to the attention of
special librarians and information professionals.
While Conference attendance is not necessary to register with
the Clearinghouse, it is undoubtedly the best networking
opportunity of the year. A compilation of job openings will be
sold immediately after the Conference for information professionals
unable to attend.
To post job openings or for additional information, contact
the Special Libraries Association's Professional Development
Section by June 8, 1994 at (202) 234-4700, ext. 649. Employer
forms will also be accepted onsite.
