When I got here 3 years ago, it had already been established that the
Intellectual Property folks did their own DIALOG searching for trademarks.
 I was reluctant about this but it was a fait accompli and I must say that
it has acually worked out fine. I set it up so a client number is manditory
and, as it turns out, I _do_ do some of this searching because I'm faster :-)
If you have attys who are computer-savvy, (and mine are), it's worked out
fine.
