CRIV MEETING TO DISCUSS THE FTC GUIDE REVISIONS: JULY 13, 3:30 -
5:00, Washington State Convention Center, Room 204, Seattle,
Washington. NOTE: This meeting does not appear in the
Preliminary Program.

At this year's AALL Meetings in Seattle, the Committee on
Relations with Information Vendors (CRIV) will be holding a
meeting to discuss proposed changes to the FTC Guides (16 CFR
256). The May issue of the CRIV SHEET contains a draft of the
proposed revisions.
This meeting is open to all interested parties. The CRIV is
especially interested in hearing from publishers and vendors.
If possible, bring your own copy of the current guides, as well
as a copy of the CRIV SHEET containing the proposed revisions.
Those interested in the revisions, but unable to attend, should
contact Daniel Bearss at the United States Supreme Court Library
(202-479-3170) or contact the CRIV Chair.
