Was there any clean-up of the sites of Telluride
and Red Mountain? (Colorado v Idarado Mining Co. 1989
707 F. Supp 1227)
I have searched several databases and the ENVIRN
Library. Thus far, the Aug 1990 issue of Mining Journal
mentioned a possible $4million clean-up cost.
Perhaps a colleague in Colorado may have read
about it in a local paper.
Generally, any help with information about
clean-up and clean-up costs or litigation costs of
actions involving acid mine drainage (also referred to
as acid rock drainage) would be greatly appreciated.
