I am preparing a presentation for Boston on Computer Services Librarian. I hav
e several short questions that I would greatly appreciate answers to if you can
help me out. They are:
1.
1. In what year did your law library implement a student computer lab or have
computers available for student use ( I am not interesteed in LEXIS and WESTLAW
use but computers for other purposes - CALI, wordprocessing, other software pa
ckages)?
2. In what year did your library first hire or change the job description of a
librarian already on the staff to include responsibility for computer services
(i.e. PC responsibility, computer lab, LAN responsibility is available, softwa
re training, etc.)?
3. Do the person's responsibilities mainly include the computer lab and stud
ent computer needs or do the responsibilities also include the library staff co
mputer access and/or law school faculty and staff computer access?
