Dear Fellow Law Librarians,
Biddle Law Library, the law school library at the University
of Pennsylvania, will be moving to its new building later this
year. In preparation for bidding the contract to move us, I
would like to identify any movers that are well thought of by law
libraries.
Ours will be a difficult move in that it involves a large,
diverse collection coming from a number of different locations
and currently arranged in a variety of classification schemes.
On the other hand, it will be simple in one respect: very little
office furniture is going with us.
If you've had a good experience with a mover, especially if
it was a complicated operation, please send me their name. Send
messages to me personally, at my Internet address below, and I
will summarize for the list if there is any interest in it.
