Calling all OBS members with program ideas for the Pittsburgh meeting:
At the OBS Education Committee meeting in Seattle, we talked about some
ideas for programs for next year. Others who weren't at that meeting may
also have ideas, and are encouraged to "hatch" them this week. By next
weekend, please fax your program proposals to both Mary Chapman and
myself. We will review them and get in touch with you ASAP next week
with any comments or suggestions we have. If we discover that several of
you are working on similar topics, we'll let you know so that you can
combine your ideas where that's appropriate.
The final OBS deadline for submitting final proposals is Thursday August
11th. Note that this is an SIS deadline, not the AALL deadline -- I will
review all final proposal forms and submit them together for the SIS by
the AALL deadline.
