LAW-LIB subscribers might find a couple of articles in the September 1994
issue of INTERNET WORLD magazine interesting reading. "Brave New Internet,"
by Roger Taylor (executive officer for the National Science Foundation's
Division of Networking and Communications Research and Infrastructure),
looks at the future of the Internet (and reviews some of its history).
Taylor offers some thoughts on the role of libraries and librarians as
the Internet evolves.

Susan Calcari's "A Snapshot of the Internet" offers an array of statistics
about the Internet (e.g., in May 1994, the Internet had more than 2,217,000
host computers connected to it; at some point in 1995, the majority of
Internet-registered networks will be located outside the United States).

In general, a good issue that covers a lot of territory.
