In planning the move, do not -- I repeat, do not -- take anyone's word
for the size, or the uniformity of the size, of the shelves you're moving
books into or out of. Be absolutely certain, on the basis of careful
measurement at your own hand, of the lengths of the shelves you're dealing
with! As you probably have guessed, this advice comes from bitter
experience....
