If we are to continue to receive more issues of "The Internet Insert" as a
pull-out (centerfold?) section of the _AALL Newsletter_, could someone
please start numbering and/or dating these issues? As an alternative, a
footer might be printed with a statement like, "Special supplement to
American Association of Law Libraries Newsletter, v.25, no.2, Oct. 1993."
For the person who inquired about President Clinton's e-mail address, I
might have suggested that Mary Shearer's article in "The Internet Insert" be
consulted, but I'm not sure if that was the first issue or second, or
indeed, without some research, what issue of AALL Newsletter it was pulled
out of. I know that the explanation for the "CRIV Sheet" having separate
numbering is different--once upon a time and not too long ago it was
published separately, and not as an insert. But anyway, if "The Internet
Insert" is to have any lasting value among our members, it would be nice to
have issues numbered for easy reference to its variable contents, huh?
Sorry to have bothered the Law-Lib list with this picky detail, but I wasn't
sure if the request should go to the AALL Internet Task Force, or to the LLJ
and Newsletter Advisory Committee, or to newsletter editor Peter Beck. If
any members of these groups have read this far, what say you?
