You might want to check out the last year's worth of American Lawyer
issues in the law library. Each issue has an insert on a service called
Counsel Connect (recently renamed Lexis Counsel Connect).

Counsel Connect is an e-mail service which brings together in-house
lawyers and outside counsel and provides them with an arena to conduct
discussion groups, share ideas, and share resources.

I believe that some lawyers are now hooking up to this system via the
internet, and also that Counsel Connect provides access to internet
resources. My guess is that this is where the bulk of the attorney
internet use is going to be found.
