Rich,

I guess you missed the brouhaha concerning Canter & Siegel. This is a
Phoenix law firm (husband & wife) who sent an advertisement to every
newsgroup on the Internet. This would be over 6000 newsgroups. Segments
of the Internet community were outraged, and the couple received over 40,000
replies, most were thought to be hatemail, including reportedly some
death threats. They offered to sell information on obtaining a greencard
through a State Department lottery. This same information was available
for the price of one 29 cent stamp from the State Department itself.

Lawyers Irk Internet Users By Broadcasting Ad"

New York Times; May 11, 1994, Sec. D; Page 1 "Sneering at a Virtual Lynch
Mob"

Dear Mary Lu:
The forecast as published in today's Seattle Times predicts that Friday,
July 8 will be sunny and Saturday, July 9 will be partly cloudy.
Highs--75-85 and lows, in the 50s on Friday. Saturday will range between
the low 50s and 75*F. Variable says it all.

We believe in layers here....so pack a variety of clothing items.

We will most likely, NOT have temperatures over 95 degrees.

See you in Seattle.
