LEXIS COUNSEL CONNECT is a partnershhip of American Lawyer
Media, L.P. and Mead Data Central, formed in February 1994.
Headquartered in New York City, LCC has operated an online service
for the legal community since May 1993. Currently LCC has almost
9000 members from all over the world, including lawyers from
coproate law departments, private firms, solo practitioners, law
professors, judges and lawyers in federal and state governments.
LCC's most important offerings are:

* full-text, searchable database of
legal memoranda and briefs
* ability to send and receive electronic mail
* gateways to both LEXIS/NEXIS and the Internet
* ability to create private discussion areas and databases
Law Libriarians in firms, corporate legal departments,
courts, law schools or government entities that have lawyer
members may subscribe to LEXIS COUNSEL CONNECT and are welcome to
participate in all forums and conferences that are not limited to
attorneys only.
