Kirkland & Ellis, a Chicago-based national law firm, seeks
top-level information services manager to take responsibility for
overall operation of the firm's libraries and related research
activities, leglislative research, legal files, calendar/court
services, and conflicts analysis. Position is based in Chicago and has
responsibility for services in five offices.
The successful candidate will have proven organization,
management, and communications skills; advanced professional degree
(M.L.S. and/or M.B.A.), knowledge of legal services subject matter;
proven ability and experience with full range of computer based
technical applications, including for example information services
databases, CD ROM and network applications, and pc based software.
Ability to work closely and effectively with lawyers and staff members
is essential.
