"28. Law Librarianship"
"There is a degree that a law librarian can obtain. This degree, however,
is not a requirement to be a law librarian. There are a number of small or medium-sized law offices that are hiring paralegals to perform library
chores exclusively or in combination with paralegal duties on cases."
There follows a list of duties which sounds a lot like what
librarians do. If paralegals can do this work as well as librarians,
why is our degree important? The profession needs to work on this.
