Controlling printing by page count in lab environment

Hello everyone--
Our computer lab manager is curious to know how those of you who
limit printing in your labs do it. We opened our lab in January with the
idea that a student could print 100 pages per session on the HPIII laser
printers that are networked to the lab PCs; however, we have no way to
count or control the printing at the moment, and the lab printers have
already generated more copies in a few months than a laser printer is
expected to produce in an entire year.... Entire forests are disappearing
before our very eyes! So--any suggestions about how to control printing
short of installing copycards? Is there a way to do a page count and cut
off at 100? I should probably mention that our lab is part of a LAN running
on DEC Pathworks software. Any/all help is invited! You can respond to the
list, or send a message to our manager, Paul Woomer at the address:
PWoomer@Law.Fordham.Edu. Thanks!
