ILL cite verification - help needed

From: District of Columbia School of Law Library (dclawlib@capcon.net)

I'm a cataloger who took over ILL for our library in mid-January.
Although I'd done some ILL as a library technician and filled in
for absent/vacationing colleagues, I've never "been ILL" before.
:-) I'm hoping that wiser/more experienced heads can give me some
assistance with cite verification, as in, how do you do it!?!?

I was recently handed a list of requests from a faculty member that
had the author of the article, volume number, journal title,
starting page, and year. I wanted to be able to put the article
titles and complete range of pages in my OCLC requests, but had no
idea where to get the information. Am I trying to be too thorough
(typical cataloger!)? If not, then could somebody please advise me
of a good/fast/easy way to make citations like those more complete?

Many thanks!

Joan Alkula
