As previously posted, on Saturday, July 10th, from 6pm - 8pm there will be a
pick up softball game on the campus of Boston College Law School, 885 Centre St,Newton Centre, Ma.
We will meet at the Hynes Convention Center in front of the AALL Registration ararea to coordinate a car pool to B.C. If you are interested in playing and
will have a car at the meeting, please give me a call. Preliminary indications
are that we will have a good turnout. If we are unable to carpool everyone
we may send the rest of the group with a pied piper to make the trip by subway.
All ages and abilities are welcome.
In order to prevent a bench clearing ball, Frank Houdek's "On First" will not
be allowed to wear his sharpened metal spikes. Baseball "Il Duce" Ed Edmunds
has decided to allow the brush back pitch. This is necessary since the girth
of many of the players results in an inevitable crowding of the plate.
Bill Lindberg will be there, maybe we can get Wayne Greenberg to play, they could serve as coaches for opposing teams and we could do our own "Less Filling,
Tastes Great!" thing. So reserve Saturday night. I
