Sorry to all.....
If you have been having trouble getting into either WASHLAW or
LawNet, (the last few days)...please stand by...
If you (somehow) managed to get into WASHLAW or LawNet and couldn't
"gateway" to an internet law resource, also please standby....
Our main (internet) trunk line went down 2 days ago....People are
scurrying.....our only (other) connection (midnet) is producing
errors..........
.....Southwestern bell is on the problem......I am told that it
will be fixed by the weekend........
Unfortunately, at any given time, there are about 3 (of you)
outside users on WASHLAW or LawNet....(somehow, 3 folks from the
eastcoast managed to get in as I write this.....)
Those 3 users will only be able to access our local
data....internet "gateway" connections will not function reliably.
I am surprised they got in at all.....
Sorry....we will sort it all out.
....and I am red faced again.......and can't wait for the dust to
settle............
