I will second Joe's comment about getting documents to go into a brief
bank being the sticking point. We have a wonderful brief bank, one that
is old and extremely useful. It's like finding hen's teeth to get people
to send in their work, and the one and only reason is that the attorneys
have been required to do the indexing and they just don't want to.
We are about to solve this little problem by going to a Novell LAN and
using Soft Solutions. This will find any document anywhere on the
network, and as long as the document is there, it will be findable
without indexing. Voila. Instant brief bank! I can't wait!
