Something new under the sun (well, sort of) ...
CRIMPROF, a new Internet list for law professors who teach or write in the
areas of Criminal Law or Criminal Procedure, has just been activated.
Reproduced below is an informational announcement about the list,
including instructions for subscribing. My thanks to Prof. Joshua
Dressler for inspiring the creation of this list and for his help in
generating interest in it.
-- Prof. Stephen D. Sowle (ssowle@kentlaw.edu)
************************************************************
The CRIMPROF list is for general discussion of substantive and pedagogical
issues in the teaching of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, and related
courses. The group is a private one, limited to law professors who teach
or write in these areas. CRIMPROF resides on the Chicago-Kent College of
Law SUN SparcStation.
In addition to general issues relating to teaching these courses, the list
is intended to serve as a place where law professors can discuss ideas
they have for scholarship, works in progress, and problems they are
encountering in conducting research. Subscribers to the list are also
encouraged to share information they have about new books or articles that
may be of interest to list members, as well as information they have about
resources available on the Internet relating to Criminal Law and Criminal
Procedure issues.
If you have any questions about the list, please contact the list
manager, Prof. Stephen D. Sowle of Chicago-Kent College of Law, at
"ssowle@kentlaw.edu" or (312) 906-5282. Technical questions should be
directed to Larry S. Donahue at "ldonahue@kentlaw.edu" or (312) 906-5308.
