Two more to consider: EPA puts out a free pub called Terms of Environment:
Glossary, Abbreviations and Acronyms. Office of Communications, Education
and Public Affairs, EPA 175-B-93-001. We also use Hawley's Condensed
Chemical Dictionary, pub. by Van Nostrand Reinhold in New York. This one is
more general chemical descriptons, not exclusively environmental.
Executive Enterprises, Law Journal Press and Government Institutes all
publish environmental dictionaries as well.
