CD-ROMs and collection development

I hope people will respond to the list on this one -- we've discussed
CD-ROMs individually as products came out, but not really how that
changes/changed the collection development and acquisitions process. I'd
be interested in the responses, too, since we hope to be bringing up a
CD-ROM network this spring and will suddenly have the real chance to
acquire some new or improved material.
