The difficulty with switching to JPEG is I am not sure it can be
incorporated into and read by HTML documents such as on the WWW, on which
virtually all online graphics are now GIFs. Frankly, I think it is the
Web which CIS is seeking to hurt and I think it's a mistake on their
part. They should be seeking to further new technology, not hinder it.
