Below are instructions for getting to all the lists of law-related resources
on the Internet that I know of. There are other ways to do so, but I like to
find one place where I can reach everything.
Note that Erik Heels' list is 164k, almost 100 pages long, and according to
his instructions, you can obtain it via anonymous FTP from ftp.midnight.com
(137.103.210.2) as pub/LegalList/legallist.txt.
Adios,
Lyo.

A note re the Heels, Milles, Jensen & Louis-Jacques lists:
You can find all of them via the Saint Louis University (SLU) gopher. If you
gopher to sluava.slu.edu, choose #8 Library Services, #3 SLU Law Library
Services:
Under #5 Law-Related Gophers and Information Servers, you'll find version 3.0
(dated January 17, 1994) of Erik J. Heels' _The Legal List_ of law-related
sources on Internet and elsewhere as item #2 (Heels' list covers
everything--listservs, BBSs, Usenet newsgroups, Gophers, WWWs, WAIS, FTP,
telnet sites, etc. related to law)
Under #9 Discussion Lists: Information and Archives, you'll find Lyonette
Louis-Jacques' (:-)) list of law-related e-mail lists (dated November 12,
1993; an updated list is forthcoming in February 1994) as item #1. SLU is
the only place I know that has my current list of law lists. The list is
limited to BITNET/Internet discussion lists related to law.
Under #11 Internet Training and Access Info, you'll find Jim Milles' "An
Introduction to Using the Internet at Saint Louis University School of Law"
(dated January 18, 1994) as item #1. Beginning with Part III, Jim's guide
has a list of e-mail lists, Usenet newsgroups, telnet sites, gophers and
other resources related to law.
Also under #11 Internet Training and Access Info, you'll find Mary Brandt
Jensen's list of law-related resources (which I think is almost 2 years old)
under item #5 Clearinghouse for Subject-Oriented Internet Resource Guides.
This Clearinghouse at the University of Michigan also has dated (old)
versions of the Heels and Milles guides.
The Jensen & Heels guides are easy to find on the Net at other sites if you
do a Veronica search at your local gopher. The Heels & Milles guides are
also ftp'able (instructions for doing so are in the guides).
Hope this helps!
Lyo.
