Hi All-
I just thought I'd add my two cents to this discussion. Wouldn't
it be possible, in fact fairly easy, to only extrapolate the members
name and e-mail address from the total AALL Directory? While this
would severely reduce the amount of members listed, would provide
AALL members with Internet access a quick and easy way to get
e-mail address of colleagues. Additionally, it would allow AALL to
quickly learn exactly what the percentage of members is that have
e-mail access. It would be bst, when planning, to be able to make
additions or alterations on-line.
What it would not do is give potential mailing list purchasers a
complete mailing address, thereby protecting AALLs revenue stream.
Is this a possible alternative?
