I posted this message last week but must have done
something wrong as I haven't seen it appear on this
list (but it hasn't been returned to me either).
A law professor here is speaking about LEXIS and would
like to illustrate his remarks with some examples of
creative uses of this database. He will be addressing
nonlaw academics and wants to show how LEXIS can be
used in various and interesting ways.
I gave him Fred Shapiro's citation analysis as an
example.
But if any of you have found unusual information by
searching the LEXIS (or WESTLAW, certainly) database
in a creative manner, I'd like to hear from you (and
perhaps this list would too).
Many thanks.

P.S. He doesn't want examples from NEXIS; instead, he
wants to show how legal information, specifically, can
be used for creative purposes in other disciplines.
