I asked Kay Todd about having the AALL directory available online as part
of LAWNET. As of October, the AALL Board's position was that the
Association relies on sales of membership lists and that online
availability of some or all of that information would impact those sales
(and therefore revenue generated by them).
If you are interested in having directory information available online, I
suggest that you contact someone on the Board and indicate that.
In the meantime, I do check Cornell's _Directory of Legal Academia_,
available on their gopher at fatty.law.cornell.edu. It only includes
people who have sent in their names, and some sites haven't been as
careful to keep things up to date as others -- but it's a great source.
