Law-Related Films/Videos

Since early 1992, we've been showing law-related popular films
in our "Monday Night Videos" series. Our audience is still
small, but we're getting more and more folk in to take a break
from the hectic pace and stress of school. Since we don't
really have the funding to purchase such programing, I've been
borrowing videos from our terrific public library - the two-day
loan is free, and the selection is quite good. I also like to
compile a list of recently released videos for students to have
during their long holiday semester break.

Here's a list of recent, older, and golden oldie titles that one
may want to consider for a popular collection:
Absence of Malice, Agnes Of God, All The King's Men, All The
President's Men, Anatomy Of A Murder, The Asphalt Jungle, Beyond
Reasonable Doubt, Body of Evidence, Body Heat (much better than
Body of Evidence!), The Bonfire Of The Vanities, Breaker Morant,
The Caine Mutiny, The Candidate, Cape Fear (old and new
versions), Citizen Cohn, Clarence Darrow, Class Action, Clue,
Colors, Crime And Punishment, Dance With A Stranger, Deep Cover,
Defending Your Life, The Distinguished Gentleman, A Dry White
Season, Elmer Gantry, A Few Good Men, The Firm, Frances, Inherit
The Wind (this is such a terrific film!), Jagged Edge, JKF, JFK
Hoffa And The Mob, Judgment At Nuremberg, K-2, Legal Eagles, The
Letter, The Long Walk Home, Love Crimes, M, A Man For All
Seasons, Marked Woman, Miracle On 34th Street (hey, it has a
trial, and it's better than showing It's A Wonderful Life
again), The Mighty Ducks, Music Box, My Cousin Vinny, Night And
The City (old and new versions), On The Waterfront, The Onion
Field, Open Doors, The Paper Chase, Physical Evidence, Presumed
Innocent, Prince Of The City, Q & A, Rampage, Reversal Of
Fortune, Romero, Rope, The Secret File On J. Edgar Hoover,
Serpico, Skokie, Storyville, Suspect, Talk Radio, They Might Be
Giants, The Third Man, To Kill A Mockingbird (another great
film!), True Colors, The Verdict, and Witness For The
Prosecution.
