BIBLIOGRAPHER/REFERENCE LIBRARIAN--Georgetown University Law Library.
Primary responsibility will be for collection development, with a strong
reference component. Serve as selector and bibliographer for general
collections; participate in collection assessments and retrospective
development; Provide on-site reference service on a rotating assignment
including weekends; participate in on-line training, teaching workshops, and/
or preparing research guides. Reports to the Associate Law Librarian for
Collection Development. Reference responsibilities are under the direction
of the Head of Reference. Required: ALA accredited MLS, experience in
libraries or knowledge of law; ability to work in a flexible, collegial
structure with shared reporting responsibilities. Preferred: law library
experience; JD or strong background in the social sciences; reference or
collection development experience; experience working with the public;
experience with or knowledge of automated library systems. Salary
appropriate to qualifications w/standard benefits package. Deadline January
