Yeah, what Kent said!! I found out by having a student complain to me
that he couldn't access omni as was required by his pre-class instruction
booklet provided by Mead. Ok, I admit I should have been more awake and
aware of the change but don't you think a major change like this, although
requested by many of us, should have been preceeded by a warning. We knew
it would likely happen but not last weekend.

The first-years were given the Mead PreClass Instruction booklet before
this break to be done over break. Most students will be working on this before anyone gets a chance
to distribute corrections. We will have a world of pain now due to the
fact that all of our first-years will be sweating bullets over this little
nugget of a change. (sorry about the long sentences) Such a thing is not
good in a neurotic environ.
