I remember seeing a notice on this list a while
back about a gay and lesbian librarians bb.
I didn't subscribe and, unfortunately, I've
deleted the message.
We have a law professor here who is extremely
eager to receive a copy of Judge Hatter's 6 page
opinion involving Petty Officer Keith Meinhold
who was discharged from the Navy because he
admitted being gay.
This ruling was made yesterday; Judge Hatter is
with the U.S. District Court, Central District,
California, in Los Angeles.
If anyone is on the gay and lesbians bulletin board
and if there happens to be a copy of Judge Hatter's
decision posted there, I'd be very grateful if you
could either forward it to my e-mail account or fax
it to me at 415-723-1933.
