When did serials departments go out of fashion?
We have a Serials Department which processes (checks-in) huge quantities of
material after the Cataloging Department has cataloged them. This material
includes all periodicals, journals, loose-leaf shipments, and other continu-
ations.
No way could the Cataloging department absorb this work.
