I recently came across the draft of the Code of Ethics for Law Reviews (hold
your laughter please and suspend disbelief). I looked through it and saw no
mention of the law library. I talked to Robert Jarvis, one of the Code's
drafters, and he said he would be happy to hear from law librarians.
Has anyone passed on comments to Jarvis or to the National Conference of Law
Reviews? Is AALL, or any of its sub-groups, looking at the Code? I certainly
have a few comments to pass on to Jarvis, particularly with regard to ILL and
law reviews, and want to know if anyone else does.
The final Code of Ethics for Law Reviews is due out in Marquette Law Review
later this year.
