Reference and Internet Services Librarian
Wright State University is seeking an energetic and creative individual
to serve in a key role within a dynamic and innovative environment.
 
Responsibilities: Responsible for developing and maintaining knowledge
and expertise in all aspects of the Internet, including access, resources,
and interfaces. Develop and deliver Internet training for librarians and
university faculty. Promote the use of Internet resources as part of the
libraries' program to deliver electronic information. Provide general
reference services at the academic and health sciences libraries on a
regular schedule including rotating weekend and evening hours.
Participate in professional activities, professional development, and
continuing education.
 
Qualifications: Required: ALA-accredited M.L.S. or Master's degree in a
related computer or information science field. Preferred: Reference
experience in an academic or health sciences library; Internet training
and demonstrated experience; bibliographic instruction experience;
knowledge of microcomputer applications in a networked environment;
and, demonstrated ability to work closely and proactively with students,
faculty, and colleagues.
 
Salary: $24,003-34,070.

Environment: Wright State University enrolls 17,000 students and offers
a comprehensive program of study including doctorates in five fields.

to implement this state-wide system. The Library is planning a remote
storage facility to be opened in 1994 and to be operated jointly with the
