Red Sox Redux

So you thought you heard the last from me. No such luck. Planning for the
Fenway outing at AALL is well underway. We currently have about 70 people
signed up. The Red Sox have informed me that I have until Jan.25th to add
to the sign up, but not to exceed 100 people. So let me know if you would
still like to attend.

I have changed the menu to the barbeque option (chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers,
sausage, cold salads, etc. This will allow for an open beer, wine and soda
bar and lobster prices have gone the roof in the last year due to several
storms. I will refund those of you who thought you were going to get a
lobster dinner, if you so desire. But this is closer to ballbark food and
the loster costs would have resulted in the cost rising above $40.00 a
person.

While walking past Fenway I ran into Lou Gorman, the General Manager for the
Red Sox. I told him I was organizing a Fenwat outing for a group of aging
professionals. Needless to say he was excited and said he was always
looking to sign free agents! After all, they need someone to room with
Andre Dawson.

So there you are. Your absolute last chance to experience that most Boston
of all experiences. Green Monster, green grass and green wallets. Be there!

P.S. I will give directions, final details, etc. in the first newsletter at
the convention. Or I may just show up on the list again, I now enjoy
cluttering it up.
