My apologies if this has been discussed previously. One of our
attorneys is wondering whether anyone has done research on the
issues surrounding the attorney-client privilege and confidentiality
as they apply to e-mail communications between attorney and client.
In addition to theoretical concerns, he is interested in exploring
practical approaches to strengthening the confidentiality of e-mail
communications with the client.
If you know of someone doing work in this area, please let me know.
I would like to put them in touch with each other so that they
can initiate a discussion.
